Traxxas slayer 4x4 what does it need to be a winner?

If you are just starting out with RC racing I would suggest you go with a Traxxas Slash 2WD. There are a lot more moving parts in the 4WD and that class of racing is dominated by guys with a lot of cash. You can run SPEC SCT class at most tracks and be competitive right out of the box with the Slash 2WD because the class is closely regulated to prevent drivers from buying their way to the podium. Never fear, if you think you will upgrade, there are plenty of brushless systems from Traxxas, Castle Creations, or Fantom Racing that will surely boost your speed and power.
