Wanting the eyesight I've never had.?

My eye visions have always been poor. I've never had good eye vision and I have always needed to wear glasses to see from far. I wore glasses for a few years but I've never liked wearing glasses.. In fact, I want to be able to see well without the need of glasses or contacts. Would you guys recommend some sort of surgery to get the eye vision I've never had. Would it also treat the floaters I have going around in my vision? Any help is appreciated.
