Who has the worst eyesight in your family household?

That would be me. My prescription is -8.5 in one eye and -7.75 in the other, and most definitely legally blind without my glasses. Without my glasses, I can see clearly (without any blurring or haziness) only 3 or 4 inches in front of my face. I can see to get to the bathroom, etc. I cannot cook without having my glasses on. I wouldn't dare cross the street by myself without my glasses on. I cannot see the computer screen or the TV without my glasses on. FYI, my ophthalmologist says that while my vision is bad, he has patients who have much worse vision than I do.
